Accessibility statement

VisuaLive is committed to equal service for all customers and visitors, and makes this site accessible in line with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

What we did on the site

  • We work to make the site follow Israeli Standard 5568, based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
  • A "Skip to main content" link is the first element on every page.
  • Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Esc) with a visible focus indicator around the active element.
  • Hierarchical headings, alternative text for images and labels for interactive elements, for screen readers.
  • Page language and reading direction are set for each language. The site is available in Hebrew, English, French and Russian.
  • A contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 between text and background, plus a high-contrast mode in the accessibility menu.
  • Moving content can be stopped: the home page showreel has a pause button, the logo and artist strips stop on hover or keyboard focus, and all animations can be stopped from the accessibility menu. The "reduce motion" setting of the operating system is respected too.
  • Text can be enlarged to 115% or 130% from the accessibility menu, and the page supports browser zoom up to 200%.
  • Works on every screen size, including mobile phones.

The accessibility menu

The accessibility button appears in the corner of the screen on every page. Your choices are saved in your browser only and can be reset at any time. The menu offers:

  • Stop animations: stops background videos, moving strips, rotating slides and effects.
  • Text size: normal, large (115%) or extra large (130%).
  • High contrast: white text on a black background, clear borders, no gradient text.
  • Highlight links: every link is underlined, with a bold outline on hover and focus.
  • Readable font: a plain font without special letter spacing.
  • Reset settings, and a link to this statement.

Known limitations

  • The showreel and embedded videos are played through YouTube and rely on the captions available on YouTube. They have no audio description.
  • Maps and embedded content from external sites (Google, Waze, social networks) are as accessible as the sites that provide them.
  • Quotes and documents in the print view or as PDF files may not be fully accessible. We will gladly send them in another format on request.
  • The 3D stage animation on the home page is decorative. Its information is also given as text next to it.
  • Older images uploaded to the site may lack alternative text. We are adding it gradually.
  • The text size setting of the accessibility menu does not enlarge the top navigation bar. Use the browser zoom for full enlargement.
